Todd Heisler is currently a staff photographer for the New York Times. In September 2010, he won an Emmy as a member of the One in 8 Million team, a multimedia project produced by the New York Times.

Gideon Mendel is regarded as one of the world’s leading contemporary photographers. In his current practice he is engaged with a variety of projects often involving a mix of photography and video.


Jeremy Mendes

Jeremy Mendes is a Vancouver based artist with over ten years experience working on interactive projects. He is currently working freelance on interactive projects with the National Film Board of Canada.

Bjarke Myrthu is CEO of Storyplanet, a platform for interactive storytelling. He also co-founded Magnum In Motion.

PhotoStories is organised by Nederlands Fotomuseum, IDFA DocLab, PhotoQ, Paradox, Noorderlicht and Jenny Smets. It is financially supported by Fonds BKVB.
